Every year on Labor Day, South Lake Tahoe puts on the Labor Day Weekend Fireworks Extravaganza! September 5th, the sky above big blue will be exploding with beautiful colors and an amazing designs.
Pyro Spectaculars, Inc. is putting on the show with Pyrodigital Consultants, and they say the show will be one of the largest firework displays in the West coast.
There will also be musical broadcasts that can be heard on local radio stations KRLT-FM 93.9 and KOWL-AM 1490.
The Labor Day fireworks spectacular is a popular yearly attraction for visitors and locals. The show starts around 8:30 p.m. and here are some great places to watch the show:
- The Tahoe Queen and M.S. Dixie II: South Lake’s two paddlewheelers offer a beautiful view of the fireworks show from the lake. Board the Tahoe Queen for a Dinner Dance Cruise or the M.S. - Nevada Beach: About two miles east of the Nevada casinos on Elk Point Road, This beach is perfect for laying out a blanket and watching the fireworks.
- Regan and El Dorado Beaches: Right where highway 50 meets the lake are these two prestine narrow beaches. One of the most popular sites for the show, you better show up early!
