Overview
The exterior of Tudor Pub reminds me of a my dream gingerbread house as a kid– cookie-cutter white colonial, sporting black shutters, with a white picket-fence encircling a neatly manicured lawn full of gumdrop bushes, a fire pit and outdoor seating. To top it off, bright string lights outline the house, where icing would have glued together sheets of gram cracker. Inside, a chic, glowing Dory’s Oar fine dining restaurant and bar compliments its upstairs English counterpart – The Tudor Pub. Sink into a Maui Burger and wash it down with Wyder’s Hard Cider in the upstairs eaves of the pub’s chalet-style attic, while admiring a big-screen movie, football game, or contemporary rock band. Alternatively, drool over seared ahi or Maryland crab fritter tapas dishes and, hopefully, your date, as you sit across from each other at a cozy table in a room enveloped by chocolate stained wood paneling, walls peppered with tasteful beer brand logos and ski décor, amazed that you can actually hear what your date is saying. Owner, Mark Winberg, admits Tudor is a neighborly joint. Locals stop in all the time to borrow a cup of sugar, shoot the breeze, or knock back one of the 17 beers that this outfitted neighbor politely offers.
