Zephyr Cove Beach
This is probably the most visited beach in all of Tahoe. There are always tons of events hosted at Zephyr, and they have something for everyone. They have the best volleyball courts, where volleyball competitions are hosted from professional to amateur. Home of the M.S. Dixie, a catamaran that accommodates over 30 persons, and tons of watersport rentals. You can rent Jet Skis, kayaks, paddleboats and more. A huge grassy area for groups and events is situated next to the mile long stretch of sand. The Sunset bar provides you with great drinks, and servers wander the beach taking orders. This is a great place to go for younger groups, more a a party scene than a family oriented beach since alcohol is allowed on the beach, but no glass containers. But if you go farther away from the bar, the atmosphere is calm and family friendly. Zephyr Cove also has a modern campground, beachfront cabins, lodging, stables, and snowmobiles!
